These tracks were written in the 6 months after PAINS, our first recording, was released, and were originally intended to be part of a bigger project. The tracks were written sometime apart from each other, 'Bodies' being written almost immediately after PAINS was published, and 'Three Sisters' beginning 2 months after that, being worked on until it was finally finished at the studio in January, 2014.

Despite the distance between them, these two tracks are closer to the music we intended on creating when we started this project. This sound is noticeably different from our previous release, which was more of an experiment, but still retains some elements that were present on that record. A change in equipment has meant that we were able to create music that was previously unattainable; each individual could add a unique texture, an effect that we couldn't achieve as a guitar-based act.
